What’s the difference between interior design and architecture design?
Architecture design focuses on the external structure and overall construction of buildings, such as bungalows, landed properties, and shop lots. Interior design, on the other hand, deals with the interior spaces, enhancing the aesthetics and functionality within the building.
Who do you work with on the actual construction?
We have our own builder team, which allows us to maintain high-quality standards in every aspect of the construction process and keep the project timeline on track.
Can you work with my existing contractors?
Absolutely. We believe in collaboration and are experienced in working alongside owners’ preferred contractors. From experience, clear communication is key to ensure all parties are aligned and misunderstandings are avoided, thus we put great effort into cultivating that and expect the same in return.
What types of materials do you use for finishing?
We use a wide range of materials sourced from around the world, including the latest trends and best-in-their-class accessories from China and European countries.
How would you describe your studio’s design style?
Our focus revolves around timeless designs that are functional and long-lasting. While modern designs are popular, we further help clients achieve the perfect balance of form and function by breaking down different styles and guiding them towards choices that stand the test of time without sacrificing aesthetics.
I’m spending a lot on my ID and renovation. How do I know where my money is going?
Rest assured that you’ll get transparent pricing with itemized quotes from start to finish, avoiding any surprises. Our final invoice reflects actual quantities used, and we present any price changes midway through the project for approval.
I’ve heard stories from acquaintances where their budget ends up becoming twice or more the original quotation without them knowing. How do I avoid that from happening to me?
We are upfront from the start that the quotation is based on the plan, while the final invoice will be based on per used quantities. For any changes that happen midway (and we’re aware changes are bound to happen), we’ll present price comparisons (before and after) so that you’re always in the know before proceeding further.
Additionally, when it comes to accessories, we quote exactly what our suppliers provide us and pass on the savings to you.
I want to stay on top of my project from beginning to end. How often will you update me?
We hear you! Each project gets assigned a dedicated project manager who is available for contact on Whatsapp from 9AM to 5PM during working days.
During the construction period, we schedule regular site visits with you at pre-agreed construction milestones. Each visit takes up to 2 hours, to give you ample time to assess progress, provide feedback and get clarifications.
In situations where you’re unable to visit in person, our project managers will document and share site progress reports in lieu on a bi-weekly basis.
